Senior Software Engineer, Core Experience (StubHub, Inc., New York, NY)
Take broad strokes of a plan and translate into production-quality solutions (12%). Maximize measurable business and customer outcomes and seek the highestreturn problems (10%). Drive highquality, efficient execution and continuous improvement (10%). Provide technical leadership, execution for workstreams within a single objective, often overseeing the technical delivery of a whole objective (9%). Participate in workstreams that are contained by a larger business objective (including multiple teams and objectives) (10%). Perform hands-on architecture and delivery of technical solutions; unblock the team and ensure consistent day to day forward progress on their initiatives; produce work plans that can be delegated to other team members; and improve systems as they work on them (12%). Design and implement significant parts of critical systems (15%). Lead initiatives that span multiple team members (10%). Mentor and grow individual contributors (ICs) on team (6%). Raise standards daily through example and review (6%). Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to StubHub, Inc. at 3 World Trade Center – 175 Greenwich, 59th Floor, New York, NY 10007. Salary: $200,000 to $300,000 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Network Engineer, or any occupation, job title, position performing full lifecycle software development.
In lieu of a Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Network Engineer, or any occupation, job title, position performing full lifecycle software development.
Must also have experience in the following:
3 years of professional experience building complex user interfaces with React including React lifecycle methods (for class components) and hooks (for functional components) as well as implementing seamless client-side navigation using React Router; 3 years of professional experience utilizing state management libraries to architect and maintain scalable, predictable application state within complex React applications; 3 years of professional experience performing component styling using styled-components in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript (including Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, Promises, Async, and Await); 3 years of professional experience utilizing C# and .NET as well as relational databases, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL; and 2 years of professional experience utilizing RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming (including Promises, Async, and Await).

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies.
