Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong Go and Kubernetes expertise to join our Engineering team.
You will work on building and improving cloud-native software solutions, solving complex engineering challenges around Kubernetes, distributed systems, and infrastructure automation.
As a senior engineer, you will take ownership of technical components, contribute to architectural decisions, and help develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable software. You will work closely with other engineers and technical stakeholders in an international, remote-first environment.
What you will be doing
Design, develop and maintain backend services and applications using Go.
Build and improve Kubernetes-based solutions, including controllers, operators and APIs.
Design and implement scalable, reliable and maintainable software architectures.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
Contribute to code reviews, testing and engineering best practices.
Take ownership of technical projects and features from design to implementation.
Collaborate with engineers and technical leadership on architectural decisions and new solutions.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang).
Solid experience with Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
Hands-on experience building Kubernetes controllers and operators with controller-runtime and Kubebuilder.
Solid understanding of Kubernetes internals and APIs.
Good knowledge of distributed systems, microservices and cloud-native architectures.
Experience developing and maintaining APIs and backend services.
Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Git and CI/CD.
Ability to work independently, take ownership and solve complex technical problems.
Fluent English (C1).
Nice to have (one or more):
Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of Terraform or other infrastructure automation tools.
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana or other observability tools.
Contributions to, or maintainer experience in, open-source projects, particularly within the Kubernetes or CNCF ecosystem.
Experience with multi-cluster management or cloud infrastructure.
