Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Website Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-quality web experiences. This role is focused on delivering performant, visually consistent, and technically robust websites while ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
You will play a key role in leading code quality initiatives, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement, while proactively managing dependencies, risks, and opportunities across projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable websites using TypeScript and PHP.
- Build high-quality front-end experiences with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and accessibility.
- Develop and maintain backend functionality and integrations using PHP-based frameworks.
- Ensure alignment with brand guidelines, technical standards, and project requirements.
- Lead and participate in code reviews, promoting best practices and high-quality standards.
- Proactively identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, and marketing.
- Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and scalability.
- Implement and maintain testing strategies and ensure code reliability.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to team growth.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Qualifications and Skills
- 5–7+ years of experience in web or website development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- TypeScript / JavaScript (modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar)
- PHP (Laravel, Symfony, WordPress, or similar ecosystems)
- Solid understanding of:
- HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
- Website performance optimization and SEO best practices
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or headless CMS).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with analytics tools and performance monitoring.
- Understanding of security best practices in web development.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
