The Opportunity

Our client, a rapidly growing, venture-backed logistics and fulfillment company, is building a next-generation, custom Warehouse Management System (WMS) from the ground up — along with the full ecosystem of operational systems that surround it. This is not just a WMS: the scope includes the end-to-end operational technology stack, spanning real-time inventory control, order management, carrier and EDI integrations, 3PL connectivity, and ERP-adjacent workflows. The platform will replace the current operations stack and transform how the company manages warehouse operations at scale.

What you'll do

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (frontend-oriented), you will be the primary owner of the React PWA that replaces 10 warehouse floor scanner applications, as well as the admin/back-office web app. These interfaces are used by warehouse workers all day, every shift, on handheld Android scanners — the UX must be fast, reliable, and error-resistant. You will implement designs produced by the Product Designer with precision, contribute to API design and backend work, and be a full participant in every layer of the system. This is a high-craft, high-impact role where what you build is immediately visible and felt on the warehouse floor.

Your qualifications and experience

Must haves

  • 7+ years of experience in software development with a strong frontend focus

  • Expert-level proficiency in React + TypeScript — you write production-grade, well-structured, performant React applications

  • Strong experience building Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) — offline support, service workers, installability, and performance optimization on constrained devices

  • Experience building touch-optimized, scanner-friendly UIs for field or operational contexts (warehouse, logistics, field service, or similar) is a strong plus

  • Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js (NestJS) backend development — you can build and own API endpoints, contribute to data models, and write backend logic independently'

  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data patterns in the browser

  • Experience implementing design systems and component libraries from Figma designs with high fidelity

  • Hands-on experience with GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Storage) or AWS; comfortable with Docker and CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with WMS platforms, ERP systems, or similar operational/enterprise software is a strong plus

  • Background in logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment-heavy domains is a strong plus

  • Actively uses AI tools (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot, v0, or similar) daily — demonstrated experience using AI for component generation, refactoring, and accelerating frontend development

  • Advanced English required
