Why Appodeal?

At Appodeal, we’re more than just a company—we’re a team united by a common mission: Help people discover and grow their talents through products that enable successful mobile app businesses!

We take pride in our cutting-edge product and our internationally dispersed team of talented professionals.

Here’s what we value, and what we hope you do too:

  • Continuous Learning and Growth: We are passionate about learning, growing personally, and building rewarding careers.
  • Making an Impact: We are committed to building a history-defining company that leaves a lasting impact on the mobile app industry.
  • Solving Exciting Challenges: We tackle complex problems every day, supported by a team of world-class professionals and mentors.
  • Enjoying the Journey: We believe in having fun while working toward our goals.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager in Gaming.

This is a senior IC role that owns app P&L thinking, ships features weekly, and decides what to build next based on data — not on a 2-year roadmap.

We are a lean startup operation: small team, growing portfolio, no room for ramp-up. Speed of decision-making is our competitive advantage.

What you'll own:

  • Full ownership of 2+ casual games (ad-monetized, evergreen).
  • Define and evolve the feature roadmap for each title — focused on what moves LTV, retention, and ad revenue this week, not next year.

  • Own revenue projections and the full app P&L thinking (UA economics, IPM, retention curves, ad ARPDAU).

  • Approve creatives, validate hypotheses, and challenge data when it doesn't add up.

  • Decide when a game has real impact opportunities left vs. when it should move to maintenance.

Weekly release cadence — ship, measure, learn.

  • Run a prioritized backlog, not a long-form roadmap.

  • Every week, answer one question: "What's the #1 thing we can ship to increase LTV?" Then ship it.

  • Design, spec, and validate experiments yourself — write the PRD, pull the data, review the numbers.

Pick up winners from R&D department and scale them.

  • Once a VG title shows traction, you take it over: SDK integration, LiveOps, feature releases, monetization tuning.

  • Stay close to UA, creative, and monetization teams — even though you don't manage them.

         AI-native, hands-on execution.

  • Use AI tools daily across your workflow: PRDs, data analysis, competitive teardowns, user-feedback synthesis, creative briefs, LiveOps content.

  • Automate repetitive product work — reports, dashboards, alerts, content generation — instead of asking someone else to do it manually.

  • Build internal AI-powered tools and automations that make you (and the team) faster.

Requirements:

Must-have:

  1. 3+ years as a Product Manager on casual, ad-monetized, evergreen mobile games (cards, words, puzzles, or similar). You've shipped real features on real titles and moved real metrics.

  2. Track record of improving retention, engagement, and ad monetization (ARPDAU, IPM, ad LTV, day-7/30 retention). You can talk specifics about what you shipped and what it did to the numbers.

  3. You can code at a working level. You pull your own data from BI, write scripts to automate routine tasks, and prototype without blocking on engineering. This is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have.

  4. AI-fluent. You actively use AI tools in your daily workflow and can show concrete examples of how AI has accelerated your output. You think "automate first, hire/delegate second."

  5. Lean startup mentality. You're comfortable owning multiple projects in parallel, working without long roadmaps, making decisions on partial data, and shipping fast. You don't wait for perfect conditions.

  6. Senior-level autonomy. You're opinionated, ship without hand-holding, and can build forecasts, challenge stakeholders, and own outcomes — not just outputs.

  7. Hungry, engaged, flexible. You treat product as a craft. You move fast, change direction when data says so, and don't get attached to your own ideas.
